Vadis only in talks with Anderlecht for now

Anderlecht has started talks with Vadis Odjidja Ofoe about a new contract. The club will have to make an effort to convince the talented young midfielder to stay with the club. Several Dutch clubs have shown interest in Vadis.


PSV, Ajax, Feyenoord, AZ, Heerenveen and the Italian Sampdoria have expressed interest in the youngster recently. Earlier Hamburg, Twente and Standard were eager to talk with the midfielder.

"At the moment we will only talk with Anderlecht," said Vadis' representative in Het Nieuwsblad. "In 2008 we will talk with other interested clubs. The most important thing is that Vadis receives opportunities to play. Not necessarily every game, but he needs chances to further evolve his skills."
