The club's title chances received another heavy blow after losing to the leaders of Club Bruges. With another important game ahead on Wednesday, Anderlecht coach Ariël Jacobs choses to focus on the positive elements.

"This is another blow and I'll have to patch the team up again. Normally, I don't talk much after a game but now I had to stress the positive elements of this game," said Jacobs on Sporza radio. "That was necessary because Wednesday we're facing another important game. We need to make a mental switch."

"I thought we played well in the first half. Aggressive as well. After the break we used the long ball too often and one flash of brilliance from Van Heerden sunk us. Which is too bad."

"If Bruges deserved the victory? They finished a chance, that's the important thing in such a game. But I refuse to believe the title is out of our hands. The competition lasts until May," said an optimistic Jacobs.
