If all goes well, the transfer of Stanislav Vlcek will be rounded off in the next week. In the meanwhile Van Holsbeeck is working on the transfer of Argentinian talent Matias Suarez. The club is also charmed by Serbian Dusan Basta

Matias Suarez can only arrive in Belgium at the end of the season, but his manager has confirmed the interest.

Anderlecht are also hoping to get a hold of Dusan Basta to strengthen the right-back position. The 23-year-old Red Star Belgrado vice-captain is at his age already an experience player, having played over 100 games for his club. Basta was also part of the selection of Serbia-Montenegro at the 2003 World Cup, although he did not play any games then. He was part of the Under-21 Serbian side that made the finals of the European Under-21 Championships, which secured his country a place in the Olympics next year in Beijing.
