Egyptian press: "Victory of Defour was politically inspired"

The Egyptian press is suggesting that the result of the Golden Shoe was politically inspired: "With Boussoufa, a Muslim won the award last year. Two Muslim winners in a row would have been unaccepable in Belgium."


Hassan didn't want to give any comment. He only underlined that he couldn't understand the voting behaviour of some: "Goals, assists and winning the league doesn't seem to count", he said.
