Belgium boss Réné Vandereycken isn’t happy with the way of handling of Club Bruges. He accused them of boycotting today’s friendly game but Bruges-secretary Jacques Denolf denies.
Normally there was a friendly game between the Belgian national team and standard completed with players of other first-class teams but the most teams won’t let their players play in shirts with another sponsor.
Club-secretary Jacques Denolf denies that he called other teams to boycott the friendly game. “ We’re depicted as fomenters” he said “that isn't fair.” Anderlecht-manager Herman Van Holsbeeck also refutes the remarks of Réné Vanderecken “ Nobody from bruges called us for boycotting this friendly game” he said.
