Anderlecht took the three points yesterday in Waasland-Beveren, but the Mauves can thank goalkeeper Boeckx for several excellent saves, especially at the end of the match. Anderlecht player Thelin, on loan in Waasland Beveren, brought the home team ahead. Stanciu and Spajic turned the tided with two goals after a corner kick. Read more »

The minor season tickets for the Champions League are selling well. Monday evening, about 300 were still available. You can still by them at the ticketing until Thursday. Anderlecht will probably not sell tickets game per game. Read more »

Against Kortrijk, Anderlecht played again in an other system, a 4-4-2, with Hamdi Harbaoui. A remarkable choice when you know that Harbaoui played with the Reserves last year and went to Charleroi. "I work very hard to earn my place." Read more »


"Fans have the right to give their opinion"

President Roger Vanden Stock reacted upset when the fans started to sing against the coach during the game in Kortrijk. From beginning until the end, even when Anderlecht was leading by 0-1, they were asking for the dismissal of René Weiler. Leander Dendoncker stands up for the fans. Anderlecht lost points once again

Anderlecht now have just 9 points out of 21. Also the game in Kortrijk didn't end in a success. Anderlecht took the lead thanks to Harbaoui, but bad defending led to two goals for the home side. Onyekuru managed to equalise and a final offensive didn't produce any goals. In the last minute, Onyekuru was brought down in the box, but instead of penalty, referee Boucaut gave yellow to the Anderlecht striker for diving. Read more »

Aaron Leya Iseka was in the starting eleven for Zulte Waregem in the Europa League game against Nice. Leya Iseka scored the only goal for Zulte Waregem in a 1-5 defeat. Michaël Heylen and Idrissa Doumbia were also in the starting eleven. Read more »

Logical win for Bayern against Anderlecht

Bayern Munich beat Anderlecht with 3-0 tonight. The Mauves played almost an entire match with ten after a red card for Sven Kums in minute 11. Kums had been placed in the defense and pulled down Lewandowski in the box: red, penalty and goal.  Read more »
