Official: Weiler no longer coach

René Weiler nog longer coach of Anderlecht. The club has announced that on its website. Nicolas Frutos, David Sesa and Thomas Binggeli will temporarily take the job of coach now.  Read more »

President Roger Vanden Stock reacted upset when the fans started to sing against the coach during the game in Kortrijk. From beginning until the end, even when Anderlecht was leading by 0-1, they were asking for the dismissal of René Weiler. Leander Dendoncker stands up for the fans. Sven Kums had to play as a central defender yesterday. After ten minutes already he could leave the field again. He got a red card. Weiler defends his decision to make Kums play more centrally on the field.  He says Kums' red card is due to lack of concentration which leads to a wrong decision. Read more »
