Norwich City too late for Mbemba

TRANSFERS Norwich City is interested in Chancel Mbemba, but the defender will most likely sign for Newcastle soon. The defender is about to undergo medical tests for the Magpies.

Former Anderlecht player Vadis Odjija is also playing for Norwich, that is promoting to the Premier League. Next to the fact that their interest is probably coming too late, it's also doubtful the club can pay the necessary 10 million for the Congolese defender. Mbemba is expected to sign a five year deal for Newcastle.
