Praet saves terrible Anderlecht

GAMES Until stoppage time, the score line remained on a scoreless 0-0. The level of play was terrible, but the Mauves eventually managed to score through Dennis Praet after a nice combination with substitute Ezekiel.

The game was not worth following. The pace was low and Anderlecht did not manage to create a lot of chances. And the opportunities that Anderlecht did have, were missed. Also the post and the crossbar played a crucial role and saved the visitors up to three times throughout the match. Lokeren should have gotten a penalty in the first half when Bolbat was brought down in the box by an, again, weak Kara. The game only became better when Acheampong and Okaka entered into play. The Italian striker was burden for the visiting defence and Acheampong caused problems with his acceleration. Yet the score line remained unchanged and coach Hasi brough Ezekiel with just one minute left on the clock. The striker was immediately good for an assist on Praet who scored the 1-0 in minute 91.
