A hard working Anderlecht beat Cercle Brugge in the last minute of the game. The Mauves couldn't find a gap in the visiting defence, despite the fact they were down to 10 for more than one hour.

Cercle had the first chance via Reynaldo. Proto and the post saved Anderlecht. On the other side, Kanu's effort was cleared from the line. Serebrenikov got two yellow cards then, but it didn't help Anderlecht in finding a whole in the defence.

After the break, Reynaldo had again a good effort. Anderlecht came close via Kanu and Lukaku, but also Suarez was dangerous. When a scoreless draw seemed almost certain, Boussoufa scored in the last minute: 1-0.
