Cercle will miss three key players against Anderlecht

GAMES Against Cercle Brugge, Anderlecht will have to show a different face if it wants to hold on to first place. Opponent Cercle will not be able to play at full strength.


Bruges will be without three key players, as Jesper Daland, Boris Popovic and Edgaras Utkus will be absent for the trip to Lotto Park. The first two are suspended and the third has suffered concussion.

Along the Anderlecht side, it will be a case of waiting to see if Yari Verschaeren gets fit. With Hazard dropping out, Anderlecht lacks the technical ingenuity to get out from under high pressure. Verschaeren can bring some relief in that. Debast returns from suspension and takes his place in defence again.
