TRANSFERS Herman Van Holsbeeck claims that Anderlecht will not be signing any new players this winter period, but Portuguese media are reporting a different story. The Mauves are said to be currently negotiating with Benfica about a move of Serbian Filip Djuricic, with a possible purchasing option.

Djuricic is an attacking midfielder who started his career at Dutch side Heerenveen. His great performance allowed a move to Benfica for six million Euros in 2013. Since then, he has not really been fortunate. He played half a season on loan at Southampton last season, and this season he only played twenty minutes for Benfica. He is currently also at odds with Benfica after an incident with the coach.
