YOUTH Anderlecht are eager to land Abdoul Karim Danté, captain of the Malian U17 national team, and are reported to be close to a deal. Danté already left his country and only administrative issues could block a transfer.

"It is always more complicated to transfer a minor African", the Anderlecht board explains. It is not sure yet when he will be arriving at Anderlecht.

David Van Renterghem, T2 of the Belgian U17, already talked to Danté in the past. "He is one of the best players of his age. He was the captain of his team, a real leader. He is fast, has a good tackle and great passing skills. His positioning could still be improved, but that is normal at his age."

"He has an excellent attitude. He is self confident, but in a good way. He knew Anderlecht were interested and he was very keen on knowing more about them", Van Renterghem states.
