After finishing third in the Belgian league, Anderlecht's U13s traveled to Portugal for the prestigious Algarve Elite Cup. In a competitive tournament with strong teams from different countries, purple and white managed to win four out of eight matches, resulting in a sixth place. Anderlecht ended the Europa League on a false note. Still, it can credit a pretty penny to its account. It earned almost 9 million euros from the league phase. The difference with Club Brugge in terms of revenue remains phenomenally large (and is getting bigger), though. They took off with nearly 50 million.
