Anderlecht announced today that 15-year-old Joshua Lambrechts and 16-year-old Lucas Kalombo have signed their first professional contracts. Both deals run until 2029. Lambrechts, a left-back from Mortsel, arrived at Neerpede two years ago from KV Mechelen. Romelu Lukaku does not rule out a return to RSC Anderlecht. In an extensive interview the striker said his sons, Romeo and Jordan, often ask him when he will play for the purple-and-white again. Kalonji Extends Contract Until 2028

17-year-old Noah Kalonji has extended his expiring contract at Anderlecht by two years. The defensive midfielder, who is representing Belgium at the U17 European Championship, is now tied to the club until 2028. "Noah is a player with a modern profile who, thanks to his game intelligence, physical strength and build-up qualities, can play in several positions in midfield," the club said. According to certain sources, Marin Soticek is a target for RSC Anderlecht with a view to next season. The Belgian U17s got off to a fine start at the European Championship in Estonia, beating Croatia 2-0. Three Anderlecht players were in the starting lineup and three more came on as substitutes. Jayden Onia Seke (photo) was involved in both goals, and goalkeeper Mattis Seghers also put in a strong performance. Antoine Sibierski would like to build the team next season around Nathan Saliba and Mihajlo Cvetkovic, Het Nieuwsblad reports. Official: Yari Verschaeren also leaves Anderlecht

Anderlecht has also officially announced that Yari Verschaeren (24) will leave the club after this season. Verschaeren is a product of Anderlecht's youth academy and had been with the purple-and-white since 2010. He made his debut under Hein Vanhaezebrouck in 2018 at STVV, alongside Doku.
