U13 finish 6th at tournament in Portugal

After finishing third in the Belgian league, Anderlecht's U13s traveled to Portugal for the prestigious Algarve Elite Cup. In a competitive tournament with strong teams from different countries, purple and white managed to win four out of eight matches, resulting in a sixth place. Throughout the tournament, the U13 never really were dominated by their opponents. They managed to perform consistently, but were sometimes just short of victory against the strongest teams. Players enjoy several days of vacation

Anderlecht will train without six internationals for the next few days. César Huerta (Mexico), Jan-Carlo Simic (Serbia), Moussa N'Diaye (Senegal), Lucas Hey (Denmark U21), Keisuke Goto (Japan U21) and Ali (Morocco U21) were called up for international duty. The rest of the core will have time off on Monday (yesterday) and Tuesday, but on next weekend and next Monday. Wednesday is open training at Lotto Park, followed by signing session. In the next phase of the U19 Cup, RSC Anderlecht will face Beerschot and Standard.  Anderlecht ended the Europa League on a false note. Still, it can credit a pretty penny to its account. It earned almost 9 million euros from the league phase. The difference with Club Brugge in terms of revenue remains phenomenally large (and is getting bigger), though. They took off with nearly 50 million.
