Anderlecht to advance in the Cup

Anderlecht defeated Lommel today in the 16th finales of the Belgian Cup. The Mauves won with 0-4. Remarkable was the debute of the young Dennis Praet and the comeback of Ronald Vargas, who scored the fourth goal.


Anderlecht had a hard time in the first few minutes and escaped from the opening goal. But RSCA quickly scored the 0-1 via Kanu. Juhasz doubled the lead before the break and dominated.

In the beginning of the second half, Lommel came close to a comeback, but the goal fell on the other side (De Sutter). Vargas put the final score on the board on penalty.
