Additional bars and new sanitary facilities at grandstand 3

OTHER Works have started near grandstand 3 to develop a new fan zone. The club announced this today. On an area of 1,500 square meters, there will be new bars for fans in stands 2 and 3 and a completely new sanitary complex.


"Approximately 1,000 square meters of indoor space for bars will be added. Here, supporters from stands 2 and 3 can enjoy drinks, snacks and ambiance before, during and after the match," can be read on the official club website. "The outdoor zone will also receive a visual upgrade."

"In addition, a brand new sanitary area of approximately 500 square meters is being built in grandstand 3. It can accommodate about 30 toilets and 40 urinals."

Anderlecht is carrying out this work because both issues emerged as sore points during a survey earlier this season. The works will largely take place during the break between two seasons but have already started. Everything should open next season. The club has not yet announced when.
