INTERVIEWS Gianfranco Zola, current coach at Al-Arabi, is worried about the lack of play minutes of Imoh Ezekiel at Anderlecht. "This is an annoying situation for a player with so many qualities. He is young and needs to play", says Zola.

"Imoh Ezekiel is currently an Anderlecht player, we shouldn't question Hasi's decisions. Imoh has to fight for a place in the team and we can't help him", claims the Italian coach. "He is a valuable player. He is always welcome to return so we can look for a solution together."

"This is a pity"

Ali Sulati, director at Al-Arabi, is disappointed with Ezekiel's current situation. "It's a pity for Al-Arabi to see Imoh Ezekiel in such a situation. Also because we invested a lot in him. We tried to get him back in the winter period but we didn't reach an agreement."

No hard feelings

Al-Arabi is not blaming Anderlecht for this situation. They say Ezekiel is the only one who is responsible for this situation. "We don't know how he is living in Belgium. Is he really behaving like a pro? Does he go out? Maybe his private life influences his football career. Whether you are Ezekiel or Maradona, you need to live like a pro to perform. It is time he gets a grip on himself, he is such a gifted player."
