Anderlecht obtain easy victory against Zulte Waregem

GAMES Anderlecht did not have any problems against Zulte Waregem. The final score was 3-0 after goals by Frank Acheampong, Alexander Büttner and Matias Suarez.

The first half started off with chances on both sides of the pitch. Anderlecht had most ball possession and there were several scoring opportunities through Praet, Djuricic and Acheampong. The Ghanaian winger was more successful a couple of minutes later, as he scored his third goal in two matches. Mbaje Leie was close to the equalizer short before half-time, but he missed in front of an empty goal from a sharp angle.

The second half was as attractive as the first one. Anderlecht were the better team, and Steven Defour hit the crossbar after an hour's play. One minute later, new signing Alexander Büttner made his first goal ever for Anderlecht, the result was a 2-0 lead.

Matias Suarez came on the pitch, together with Youri Tielemans. And Suarez showed to be a super sub: in the extra time he set the final score on the tables: 3-0.
