Yesterday Anderlecht visited Racing Genk and won with 0-4. Genk had to play without De Bruyne, going off with an injury early in the game. Anderlecht missed some players like Kljestan, Wasilewski and Mbokani.

Bedi Mbenza played instead of Kljestan and Odoi replaced Wasilewski. Suarez, Kanu and Jovanovic played in the attack.
After eight minutes Kanu opened the score for Anderlecht. The Brazilian was quicker on the ball than Nadson and scored the 0-1. A couple of minutes earlier Genk-player Kevin De Bruyne went out with an injury. Gillet made the 0-2 after half an hour, Jovanovic gave his second assist of the evening.

After Half-time Anderlecht continued to control the game. Jovanovic gave his third assist of the match when Kanu scored the 0-3 from his pass. Genk failed to score because of a strong Proto in the goal of Anderlecht. At the end of the match Suarez was substituted for Tom De Sutter. Being just a few seconds on the pitch, the Belgian striker made the 0-4 after receiving the ball from Gillet.

Anderlecht is now ten points ahead of Genk and seven of Club Bruges. Bruges is playing this evening against Ghent. A 31st title is very close for the Mauves.
