GAMES Anderlecht are back in business after defeating Club Bruges with a 1-0 score. The Mauves won nine points out of their last three matches and come closer at one point of leader Club Bruges. Anything is possible again in the title race.

This clash was not a guarantee for great football, but there was excitement and battle on the pitch. After one minute already, Praet collided with De Bock and caught a concussion. Also Andy Najar caught an injury and had to be replaced by Stéphane Badji.

Anderlecht dominated the match, but Club Bruges had the best chances in the first half. However, Stefano Okaka was close to the opening goal.
In the second half, Anderlecht did manage to make the difference. Djuricic sent away Youri Tielemans who scored with a nice kick. After that match, Anderlecht moved back to the defence and Club Bruges did not come any closer to the equalizer. This might be an important win for the Mauves.
