INTERVIEWS René Weiler is Anderlecht's new head coach and Anderlecht-online contacted Wolfgang Laaß, journalist at Nürnberger Nachrichten, what kind of coach Weiler is and what he stands for.

"Weiler is very passionate and stands for discipline. He prefers to play in a 4-4-2 formation. He was very limited at Nürnberg, both tactically as financially. That is also the reason why he launched several young players", Laaß explains.

"He won't change his team once he found the right balance. However, team spirit is important for him. He will not hesitate to sideline players who do not follow him and he does not look at names."

"He has no experience in a top team, but I am quite sure he can handle the pressure. I am sure he can succeed if people follow his way of playing", Laaß states.
