Steven Defour may leave Anderlecht

TRANSFERS Steven Defour is not feeling happy in Anderlecht at the moment. The player is considering a departure. Defour is especially concerned about the fact that a small group of fans still didn't accept him as an Anderlecht-player (seen his Standard past).

Al-Arabi is showing interest but Defour is not in favour of making the move to Qatar. Southampton and Lazio Roma are also trying to land the player. Defour still hasn't made up his mind. The club asked him to make a decision before August 8. Tonight's match in the Champions League qualification round against Rostov, will probably play an important role in his decision. If Anderlecht can qualify and Defour is being encouraged by the fans, he may stay after all.
