TRANSFERS The winter transfer window has opened and Herman Van Holsbeeck indicated the club will be looking for reinforcements. The most remarkable rumour at the start of the new year, is the possible return of Charlie Musonda Jr. from Chelsea to Anderlecht.

Musonda left Anderlecht at young age for Chelsea. The Mauves were extremely disappointed at that time, losing one of their biggest talents. But the move to England wasn't successful: Musonda was loaned to Betis Sevilla, but the Spanish club is not satisfied with his performance. This means he'll return to Chelsea to be loaned to another club again. Anderlecht may be an option, though Musonda's father is sceptical: "I don't think Chelsea will be loaning Musonda to Anderlecht right now."

Also Leya Iseka may return to Anderlecht sooner than expected. The striker was loaned to Marseille in June, but barely played with the first team. According to manager Van Holsbeeck, there is no decision yet: "I'll be talking to a representative of Marseille to see what the exact situation is. We still have an entire month to solve the problem."

Midfielders Guido Burgstaller (27, FC Nuremberg), Marvelous Nakamba (22, Vitesse) and Simon Tibbling (22, Groningen) and striker Hamza Lahmar (26, Étoile Sportive du Sahel) are also being named as possible reinforcements.
