Acheampong selected for WC-qualifying match

Also his home country Ghana has noticed the good performances of Frank Acheampong with Anderlecht. National coach Kwesi Appiah has selected Acheampong for the WC-qualifying against Zambia on Friday 6th of September.


Ghana leads the African group D after five out of six matches. Zambia is one point behind. Ghana will qualify for the World Championships in Brazil next year if they don't lose.

On September 10, Ghana will also play a friendly game against Japan in Yokohama. A few players of the 26 selected players against Zambia will make this trip aswell.
