Weiler extends contract until 2019

TRANSFERS Anderlecht coach René Weiler has extended his contract until 2019. With this move, the club stresses its confidence in the Swiss.

Anderlecht manager Herman Van Holsbeeck declares he's delighted with the progress the team is making under the wings of Weiler. "It was a unanimous decision to extend the contract. The club is doing well due to the clear vision of the coach towards the players".

Weiler is pleased with the extended stay. "I'd like to thank the board for the confidence. We'll continue to work hard for the title and Europa League".
