Capel and Anderlecht are splitting up

TRANSFERS Diego Capel is no longer a player of RSC Anderlecht. He communicated on Twitter: "My time at Anderlecht is over. It is time to find new challenges." He also thanked the fans.


"I signed for Anderlecht knowing that this could be the club where I could celebrate my first title. I knew the grandeur of this club and its necessity to become champions again after three years. I assumed that that would be the most amazing thing that I could experience in Brussels."

"But today I can say that I was wrong. I am very proud that I have won this title, but it is nothing in comparison to the pride and happiness that I've experienced because I was loved by the fans. I will never forget the love you've given me. Therefore, I will always feel like one of you."

Probably, Anderlecht has dissolved his contract and Capel is looking for a new club.
