The players and the chairman are not happy with Broos' comments after Oostende-Anderlecht. He called the behaviour of his players 'hautain'.

"Broos didn't exactly pick the right word", says Vanden Stock. "We are fighting for years to get that label off the team. But he was right about Kompany. I think the trainer especially wanted to motivate his players for the game in Valencia."

"It is Champions League! I don't need such motivation. I'm motivated enough. We just had a bad day last Saturday." reachted Deschacht.

"I believe Broos said it to motivate us, but it wasn't needed at all", reacts Walter Baseggio. "We were tired because of the interland games."

"I'm new here. I have to prove myself every week", says Mbo Mpenza. "So why should I behave like I'm better than the rest then?"
