Peersman takes over Zitka's position

During the first five competition matches and the three European games, Daniel Zitka was goalkeeper of Anderlecht, instead of Tristan Peersman. But after Zitka's mistake against Valencia, the Czech has to sit on the bench.


"I heard the news during the preparation for the match. "I knew this could happen, because I'd read the last few days that the coach was doubting. I didn't talk to Zitka yet. But I know he is my first fan."

The key position of Tristan Peersman is also good news for the national team. He will surely be in the eleven for a while, because Hugo Broos already announced that he won't blame Peersman after one mistake. "I'm not thinking about that", said Peersman. "Anderlecht and the national team are two different cases. If I perform well here, the rest will follow."
