Roef year longer at Waasland-Beveren?

TRANSFERS In addition to Isaac Kiese Thelin, an other player of RSC Anderlecht is on loan at Waasland-Beveren, Davy Roef. In contrast to Kiese Thelin, it looks as if Roef will be adding another season at the Waaslanders.


Roef feels good at Waasland-Beveren and also has a constant in his game. Both parties don't say no to a longer stay. How that will happen is not yet clear. Either Waasland-Beveren leases Roef one more season with possibly a purchase option. Or he makes a final transfer.

In that case, RSC Anderlecht must then look for a new goalkeeper. Matz Sels is only on loan from Newcastle for one season. Sels himself said earlier not to say no to an extended stay in the Astridpark.
