TRANSFERS Anderlecht spoke in January with the, at that point, Waasland-Beveren midfielder Ibrahima Seck about a transfer in June. Anderlecht wanted to attract the solid Frenchman as successor of Leander Dendoncker.
Seck was at the end of his contract with Waasland-Beveren after this season and Anderlecht offered him a nice salary. However, the midfielder chose a transfer to RC Genk in January. In this way, the Waaslanders could still receive a transfer fee for him.
