Official: Anderlecht presents second summer transfer

TRANSFERS Marc Coucke and Luc Devroe are taking actions: they presented their second summer transfer in three days. Now it is Kristal Abazaj, an Albanian winger of 21 years who comes from Lüftetari in his home country.


Abazaj signs a contract with Anderlecht for three seasons with an option for a fourth. "Kristal is seen as one of the greatest Albanian talents", says sports manager Luc Devroe. "We are very pleased that a promising player chooses Purple-White, I am sure he can fulfill his potential here."

Abazaj himself is also satisfied with his transfer to Anderlecht. "Anderlecht is a big name in European football, also in Albania, I am very happy to be able to develop myself at such a big club and I am eager to get started here."
