INTERVIEWS At least ten new players announced chairman Marc Coucke. In a conversation with Sporza Luc Devroe calls this an underestimation. "I do not think that that number will be enough", he says. "It's the end of a cycle, it's time for innovation."

Devroe speaks of a new wind in all areas, including in the player core. Anderlecht did not attract big names yet, but Devroe says that that's not necessary. "In the past, star players who have only played four matches have been attracted. Look at Rolando: he had a European League final on his list, but he did not played very well, so you have to pay attention."

Devroe finds it safer to attract players from the Belgian league. "Anderlecht have always had a success with attracting players from the Belgian competition, we know the qualities of Milic and Musona, and they have already proved something on a certain level."

In the attack, some players must be added, even if Teodorczyk stays. "You can not tell bad things based on his figures, but you can not count on him alone, there needs to be reinforcements and if Teodorczyk does not leave, he has to compete. If you look at the top scorer ranking and see that Harbaoui is in first position and Thelin at place three, you might had to keep one of those two," Devroe concludes.
