TRANSFERS Although the transfer market is not officially open yet, Anderlecht already realized a lot of transfers. We introduce them to you extensively. Today: Kristal Abazaj.

Previous club: By KF Skënderbeu sent on loan to FC Luftërari
 
Abazaj ended up with second division Elbasani through the youth academies of FK Dinamo and Partizani in September 2015.

In the summer of 2016, he went for a trial period to first division teamLuftërari, who quickly offered him a contract. Abazaj immediately grew into a key player and was named one of the greatest talents in the competition.

In January of this year Skënderbeu put 300,000 euros on the table to bring him in. Abazaj was allowed to finish the season at Lüfetari.

Abazaj eventually scored eleven goals and gave three assists in 34 appearances in the competition. He became top scorer of his club.

It was enough to convince Anderlecht. In mid-April, the Purple & White payed an amount of € 750,000 for the Albanian international.

2018-2019

Abazaj will certainly get his chance in the preparation. Whether he is ready to be important for Anderlecht this season, however, seems questionable. The difference between an Albanian subtopper and Anderlecht is enormous.

Will Anderlecht let him adapt in the shadow? Or does it will send him a season on loan to a Belgian club first? It is striking that KV Oostende with Sindrit Guri also attracted an Albanian two weeks ago. Guri is a deep striker. Did Luc Devroe and KV Oostende have the Albanian market in sight for some time? Or is it coincidence?
