Presentation: Ivan Santini

TRANSFERS Last month we introduced you to the first six newcomers from Anderlecht. Meanwhile the counter is at twelve. Time to briefly introduce you to the second load of reinforcements. Today: Ivan Santini.

Previous club: SM Caen

Santini played at a number of clubs in Croatia, Austria and Germany before he landed in Belgium in the summer of 2013.
 
Santini played in the Jupiler Pro League for KV Kortrijk and Standard. In 97 games he scored 42 goals.
 
Caen took him to France two years ago. In the Ligue 1 he did not bad with 26 goals in 66 games. Nevertheless, purple-white succeeded in getting him in.
 
With Santini we originally had a Hamdi Harbaoui feeling: someone who would always end up high in the top scorer list at a smaller club, but just not enough for Anderlecht.
 
Like Harbaoui, Santini is not too fast but he's a decent target striker. Still, it seems that the Croatian has a better head and he works harder.
 
Since Isaac Kiese Thelin and Lukas Teodorczyk are allowed to leave, Landry Dimata seems to be first choice as a striker, Santini number two and Mohammed Dauda the third striker.
