Anderlecht avoids crisis with three points against Standard

GAMES Anderlecht won with 2-1 against Standard yesterday. Djenepo scored the opening goal for the visitors, but Santini and Sanneh scored in the final for Anderlecht.
Anderlecht started the game quite well. Morioka directed Anderlecht to a few chances, but especially Gerkens missed them. Afterwards the pace dropped drastically. Anderlecht got an ice-cold shower when Standard scored the 0-1.

Continue reading In the second half, it was not good for a long time. After 65 minutes, Hein Vanhaezebrouck brought Bakkali and Saief between the lines and that changed the game. Santini equalized with a great shot and Anderlecht steamed on.
In the absolute final phase, Sanneh headed the 2-1 against the ropes. The relief from coach and board was enormous. Anderlecht is approaching again to six points from leader Club Brugge.
