"The winter training is important to get to know the players"

INTERVIEWS Frank Arnesen officially started yesterday as technical director. The players are currently still enjoying the last days of vacation. Arnesen wants to use the upcoming winter training camp to get to know the players and analyze the group better.


Arnesen admits during his press conference that he does not really know the current core yet: "That's why I'm going to the winter training camp with Michael Verschueren to Spain, where I will have the time to thoroughly get to know and analyze the players."

He will take the necessary time to get to know the technical staff better and to see what the weaknesses and strengths of the team are. That is not possible in one day. Arnesen emphasizes that a player can also have an off-day, even if he has strong qualities. That is why the new technical director wants to take the time. The winter training camp is a perfect start for that.
