GAMES Anderlecht sees Play-Off 1 slip away further and further. The game that it had to win tonight, it played 0-0 against Zulte Waregem. With duels against Antwerp and Club Brugge in the offing, this is a painful misstep.

After the victory of STVV yesterday, Anderlecht had to win today. It started promising. Bolasie offered Dimata the first chance of the evening. On the other side, a goal from Bongonda was rejected for offside. Rightly, even though it was a nice retro. Didillon had to show his value several times.

After the break Zulj took care of the first threat. Zulte Waregem responded via Bongonda. Halfway through the second half, Rutten took Dimata to the side and he could not really laugh at that. Zulj had two good chances: a quarter of an hour before time, Verschaeren sent him nicely deep, but the Austrian acted too slowly. In the extra time he dribbled nicely free and his shot died on the crossbar.
