Verschueren: "Disappointed in statements"

INTERVIEWS Michael Verschueren reacted briefly to the statements of Hein Vanhaezebrouck in VTM News. He says he is shocked by the statements and is also disappointed.


What was Verschueren's reaction when he read the interview? "I was shocked and disappointed. I will also not comment. Vanhaezebrouck has already done that enough."

When asked whether the statements regarding his payments are correct, Verschueren said: "The club has made a statement and I leave the rest to other people."

Then there was the swipe to chairman Marc Coucke, but Verschueren did not want to comment on that either: "It is not up to me to comment on that."
