Kums remains captain until the end of the season

OTHER Sven Kums also wore the captain's tie against Club Brugge. However, Adrien Trebel was also at kick-off. Fred Rutten immediately stated that it is Kums who will continue to wear the captain's band until the end of the season. A special reason should not be found behind this.


"When I arrived here, Trebel was injured", Rutten starts his explanation, "Sven took over the band and we actually left it that way. That will be the case until the end of the season. A special reason is not there. There are still other captains in the dressing room and on the field who don't need that band. So it doesn't really matter who wears him."
