Rutten: "Am I no longer deciding on my future?"

INTERVIEWS They have become almost standard, the questions about Fred Rutten's position next season. Does the team not weigh on the uncertainty about the coach? Sven Kums doesn't think so.
 


Last week Kasper Huljmand, the most mentioned successor of Fred Rutten, was in Brussels. Did he come to talk to the RSC Anderlecht board? Did he come to talk to another Belgian club? He continues to be linked to purple and white. Although these are just assumptions and not facts.

Sven Kums thinks that that uncertainty has no influence on the team: "We only think about winning games. It is the board that must make the decisions when it comes to the coach."

To which Fred Rutten turned to Kums: "And me? Can I not decide on my future?", The Dutchman said with a smile, but still. The coach is gradually getting bored of answering to all questions about his future.
