INTERVIEWS Waasland-Beveren risks a relegation due to match fixing. Davy Roef, still on the payroll at RSC Anderlecht, was a goalkeeper with the Waaslanders during the facts where the Disputes Committee was talking about and is also mentioned in the case. Father Luc Roef is tired: "We want to see the legal file", he says in an exclusive conversation with voetbalkrant.com.

The match where there might have been match fixing is the match of Waasland-Beveren against KV Mechelen. The day before, Davy Roef would have sat together with his agent Evert Maesschalk, and that is suspicious, according to the Football Association.

"But that conversation was about his contract," father Roef explains, "My son has never been asked to fix a match. This is defamation of certain press people. It is high time that there was clarity in that entire file. My son has already suffered enough reputation damage and that is irreparable. We have instructed our lawyer to inspect the entire file."
