An overview of the technical staff

OTHER Last season was characterized by, among other things, a chair dance at the level of the board and trainers. Next season, too, will be somewhat experimental with Kompany as player-trainer. But who completes the technical staff? We list it.


Michaël Verschueren remains Marc Coucke's right hand, but is also the general sporting director. Frank Arnesen is the technical director and is responsible for scouting. The intention is that he uses his network to attract qualitative reinforcements.
 
Pär Zetterberg then becomes the link between the management and the players. He will therefore probably stand on the training field again. Zetterberg will mainly deal with midfield and the attackers.

Vincent Kompany becomes the leader of the defense, but also becomes manager of the team, the English way. He therefore sets up the team and determines the tactics. He will also lead the training sessions and make the match preparations.
 
Simon Davies then officially becomes head coach, but he is more likely to be Vincent Kompany's eyes when he's standing on the pitch. He must also have an eye for the U21 and the flow of youth.
 
Karim Belhocine becomes T2 again. He accepted this role again after his brief passage as head coach. He needs to maintain relationships with the players and currently has an excellent relationship with most of them.
 
Jonas De Roeck is also T2, but he is also responsible for the U21. He will mainly work in the shade of Belhocine.
 
Floribert Ngalula Mbuyisera is T3 and also the confidant and close friend of Vincent Kompany. In a sense, he becomes Vincent Kompany's personal assistant. At least they already share the same ideas about the kind of football that Anderlecht should play.
 
Max de Jong remains goalkeeper coach. His work is appreciated and his contract was extended by two years.
