INTERVIEWS Michel Vlap was very fresh and smiley for the first time, speaking to the press as a player of Anderlecht. The Dutchman beamed and looked completely ready for a great career at Anderlecht. "I am very proud and I am really looking forward to winning prizes with Anderlecht."

Vlap started in French: "Je m'appelle Michel, j'ai 22 ans et j'habite à Sneek. Now I'll talk in English. My French is a little bit ... it sucks. But I will learn it ", Vlap began with a smile from one ear to the other. "I am very proud of this transfer. I started playing football when I was five years old. Heerenveen picked me up very quickly. And 17 years later I am here."

"I am very happy that I am here now. I have had to wait a while, it took a while. I sat in a roller coaster, which did not seem to come to an end, but now it finally does. I am super proud and I am very excited to win prizes with Anderlecht ", says Vlap.

"I can say that this is the biggest club, but everyone knows that. I am really looking forward to it. I thank Marc Coucke, Frank Arnesen and Michael Verschueren for giving me this opportunity."
