De Wilde becomes the link with Lithuania

YOUTH Patrick De Wilde has been appointed by the Football Association of Lithuania as Technical Director. Among other things, he has to work with Anderlecht.
 


De Wilde has been active as a trainer since 1999. He has previously worked in Belgium (Kortrijk, OH Leuven), Tunisia, Algeria (as assistant to coach Georges Leekens), Austria and China. Anderlecht will share their knowledge with Lithuanians through training for trainers and it will also try to bring more structure to the organization of the Lithuanian national team (currently 107th in the FIFA rankings). Het Laatste Nieuws reported in February that Anderlecht will receive 200,000 euros for this.
