Cologne interested in Bornauw

TRANSFERS According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Sebastiaan Bornauw (20) has landed on the radar of FC Köln. Anderlecht would like to receive 7 to 8 million for the young central defender and is prepared to talk about a final transfer.


Bornauw was missing on the match sheet yesterday, unlike the first match against Ostend. This apparently had to do with the conversations concerning the transfer of the player. According to sources in Germany, the transfer can be completed within a few days. Bornauw himself would consider a transfer.

There are also doubts about the qualities of the player within the Anderlecht board. Bornauw has duel power and physical strength, while Kompany is mainly looking for footballing defenders. Anderlecht would therefore not refuse a transfer and try to force a percentage on the later resale.
