Anderlecht - Antwerp: 1-2

GAMES Anderlecht couldn't win a second top match in a row. After a dominance in the first half, Antwerp took the lead via Refaelov. Not long after that Chadli scored the 1-1, but the red card from Sambi Lokonga made it difficult. Miyoshi secured the final score with a goal in the 87th minute.


The first half was poor, although Anderlecht had the upper hand. Antwerp played on the counter, but - just like Anderlecht - hardly created any opportunities. Defour did flirt with exclusion after a yellow card after 13 minutes and a serious foul after 22 minutes.

The second half started good for Antwerp: Mirallas and Refaelov twice did not get past the strong Van Crombrugge. But third time Refaelov scored. After Saelemaekers lost the ball, Refaelov managed to push the ball past the Purple-White goalkeeper. The answer was not there for a while, but thanks to a mistake by Bolat, Chadli was able to profit. The goalkeeper misjudged a far ball from Sandler and Chadli was in the right place to nod the 1-1. Van Crombrugge had to prove himself several times with some tough saves, but the goalkeeper stood firm. The re-appearance of Sambi Lokonga ended in a minor. The youngster received a yellow card in the 73rd minute and five minutes later he was allowed to leave the field after a second - rightly - yellow card.

Then it went from bad to worse: Haroun almost scored, but the pole saved Anderlecht. On the other hand, Chadli went down in the sixteen meters. Too easy, Visser decided, and he was also presented with the yellow cardboard.

Substitute Miyoshi was the match winner for Antwerp. The Japanese kicked passed Van Crombrugge with a deviated shot and helped The Great Old to a victory.
