Christiansen: "Roofe will score another twenty"

INTERVIEWS Kemar Roofe has scored four goals in four games. The striker was Vincent Kompany's first choice because Roofe had the qualities that Kompany wanted. Thomas Christiansen, Union trainer, worked with Roofe at Leeds and calls him "a complete striker who will make twenty more goals".


With those four goals, two were scored from the penalty spot, but Christiansen is convinced that Roofe will succeed at Anderlecht.

"He is the ideal player in Kompany's philosophy. He does not have a specialty, but he does master all facets. Physically impressive, defensively, he is strong and jumps high despite his barely 1.78 meters. The header goals will follow. Kemar is cold-blooded in front of the goal and can finish both with the left and the right. He will certainly score another twenty. "
