Sanneh wants to leave Göztepe

OTHER Bubacarr Sanneh currently plays on a rental basis for the Turkish Göztepe. The loan is not a success, partly due to injuries. Sanneh played only two games in Turkey. The defender now wants to terminate his loan. Back to the Jupiler Pro League or maybe to Denmark.


Tom Saintfiet, coach of Bubacarr Sanneh with the national team of The Gambia, stands up for his defender: "Whether Buba goes back to Belgium or Denmark, he has to get confidence. And a fair chance, something he never got at Anderlecht. He was put off too early. He has everything to make it and will do so on condition that he goes to a club that believes in its potential."

Meanwhile, Anderlecht and Göztepe are working together to find a solution for Sanneh. Chances are that he will be loaned again, preferably in the Jupiler Pro League. But the Danish Brøndby would also show interest.
