TRANSFERS The English newspaper The Sun reports that Sheffield United is planning to make an offer for Elias Cobbaut. According to the tabloid, Sheffield manager Chris Wilder would like to offer £ 7 million for Cobbaut. Converted that is 8.19 million euros.

Sheffield is currently in a good sixth place. The top five will play European next season and that is Wilder's goal. That is why he wants to strengthen his defense with Cobbaut and a defender of second-division team Ipswich, so it sounds.

Chris Basham, John Egan and Jack O'Connell are currently the central defenders of Sheffield. Wilder wants to increase competition. Sheffield sent a scout to watch Cobbaut on several occasions, and according to The Sun he returned with positive reports.

Due to its recent status as a Red Devil, Cobbaut is an interesting player for Anderlecht to sell. Purple-white sticks an amount of ten million euros on his head.
