Anderlecht fined for fire bombs at Standard

OTHER The Disputes Committee has awarded Anderlecht a fine of 4,000 euros for the use of pyrotechnic material from its supporters during Standard - Anderlecht on 15 December. Standard was also fined for the same facts. They have to pay 5,000 euros.


Anderlecht already received various fines for such facts in 2019. "Given recent convictions for similar facts, it appears that both clubs are unable to dissuade their supporters," the Disputes Committee's verdict says.

Neither Anderlecht nor Standard were present at the session to defend themselves.
